For the Summer and Fall 2021 semesters, MassBay has moved most face-to-face classes to remote learning, with some program execptions. In order for students to be successful in remote learning, it is important that they have the tools and resources needed.
As the College looks for ways to support student’s on-going academic success, we have made a limited number of Chromebooks available for use during this period of remote learning.
Chromebooks are available on a first come, first served basis and must be returned at the end of the semester. If you are interested in borrowing a Chromebook, please complete the following two electronic forms:
Computer Loaner Application →
The Computer Agreement →
Once your application and agreement are reviewed and approved, Chromebooks are mailed to the address provided in the application. Please check your MassBay email regularly for updates.
Please note that in most cases, Chromebooks are not compatible with course work in both the CS 100 (Computers & Technology) and CS 104 (Microcomputer Applications/Business) classes. A very limited number of HP Streams are available for CS 100/CS 104 students and will be available on a priority basis for students with demonstrated financial needs who cannot access a computer using the Cares Act Funding. Please complete the above application.
If you are enrolled in any of the following classes: CS205-012, CS214-003, MA210-016, MN101-700, MN130-750, MN140-700, MN261-700 please contact your faculty member to request assistance.
