Scholarship Information

How To Apply for A Scholarship
The application process is the same for all students, whether you are newly enrolling or a returning MassBay student.

  1. You must have your own MassBay student identification number and MassBay email address to begin the application process.
  2. Students may apply for scholarships through AwardSpring by searching for the app in OneLogin — MassBay single sign on.
  3. Once you are in AwardSpring, complete or update your General Application.
  4. After you have submitted your General Application, you will automatically be considered for all available scholarships based on the information you provide in your General Application and the data we have in the academic system.
  5. When you are logged in to the scholarship system, there are a very small number of scholarships for which you will see an “Apply” option. Those scholarships require an additional essay or additional information that you must provide to be considered for the scholarship.
  6. Seeing the “Apply” option in AwardSpring does not mean you are qualified for those scholarships. It just means we need additional information to determine your eligibility. Conversely, if you do not see an “Apply” option next to a listed scholarship, it does not mean you won’t be considered for that scholarship. It just means that we do not need any additional data from you other than what you have already provided in the General Application and what we have in the enrollment system.

The Scholarships We Offer At MassBay

At MassBay, we want every student to have the opportunity to succeed — and scholarships can help make that possible. That’s why we encourage all students to apply for scholarships each semester they’re enrolled.

The best part? You only need to fill out one application to be considered for nearly every scholarship you qualify for.

Scholarship availability may vary each semester depending on funding, and each one has different eligibility criteria—like GPA, number of credits, major, and whether you’re a new or returning student. Just complete the application, and we’ll help match you with the opportunities that are right for you.

Below, you’ll find the scholarships available for the fall and spring semesters. While most scholarships are awarded during these terms, a limited number are also available in the summer. Be sure to log in to our scholarship platform each semester to see what’s currently available—we’re here to help you make the most of your time at MassBay.
