The Office of the Registrar maintains student academic records and ensures that student rights are protected under the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Transcripts, grades, enrollment verification, and graduation verification available.

Public records requests made to MassBay Community College are governed by Massachusetts Public Records Law, which provides that every person has a right to access publicly available information.

Guidelines for Requesting Public Records Information

To assist members of the public with making a request, we put together Guidelines for Requesting Public Records InformationGuidelines for Requesting Public Records Information. Please read the document carefully before making a Public Records Request.

Requests for public records should be submitted in writing in order to ensure that the College accurately and completely responds to your request. A form is available on the MassBay website for your convenience.
A request for public records should include:

• Description of specific records being requested;
• Date parameters for the public records being requested;
• Name of person or organization requesting the public records; and
• The requesting person’s/organization’s contact information.
