Jennifer Cullen

Jennifer Cullen, MSW, LICSW is an Assistant Professor in the Human Services Department, with specialties in Addiction and Behavioral Health. She has been at MassBay since 2020 and is passionate about educating and supporting students who will become members of the local behavioral health and addiction services workforces. She has nearly ten years of education and experience in clinical social work, in both non-profit organizations and the private sector, and has provided treatment services in a variety of residential, correctional, and outpatient settings.

Elizabeth Watson, M.Ed.

Full-time faculty member in the Human Service department. She has worked at the college in various roles for 10+ years including continuing education, grants and workforce partnerships. Her undergraduate degree in psychology with a concentration in human services led to opportunities working with children and adults with various abilities and developing professional training for those in the field.

Sherline Heriveaux

When Sherline Heriveaux was a graduating senior at Boston’s Fenway High School, she began receiving numerous college acceptance letters. She was excited about taking the next step in her education and her future career path, but reality set in after she looked at all the financial aid reward letters and realized she would still have to try to figure out how to pay for college.

Leah Mohammed-Vargas

WELLESLEY HILLS, Mass. (June 10, 2021) — After Leah Mohammed-Vargas of Jamaica Plain, MA, graduated in 2008 from Snowden International High School in Boston, MA, she headed to nearby Newbury College to pursue her dream of earning a degree. James Casey

James Casey of Natick, a student veteran and honors student, graduating from MassBay Community College, has been accepted to Harvard University. He explains his acceptance into Harvard University “as being a total long shot.” He added, “I knew I had a solid GPA, but it’s Harvard, and it’s very competitive. I worked really hard to be a good student, but I didn’t think I would be this successful. After a lot of hard work, determination, and support from the MassBay faculty and staff, I will be a student at Harvard next fall. I am so excited that I got in!”
