Academic Advising, Coaching and Transfer
Inclusive Coaching in Advising
Overview: Our Inclusive Coaching model is integrated into academic advising to help students connect their educational, career, and personal goals. Academic Advisor/Coaches work closely with a smaller caseload of students to provide deeper, more individualized support, while Academic and Transfer Counselors incorporate inclusive coaching strategies in every advising conversation.

Executive Functioning Coaching
Overview: Executive Functioning (EF) coaching helps students build the planning, time management, and organizational skills needed for college success. Coaches work with students on overcoming procrastination, establishing routines, understanding assignment instructions, breaking down semester papers and projects, and following through on academic responsibilities.

Overview: At MassBay Community College, our coaches bring a thoughtful, student-centered coaching philosophy to every team, whether in traditional athletics, integrated athletics, or e-sports, that honors the whole person and champions growth on and off the field or screen.

Overview: Career Services staff use Inclusive Coaching to support students as they explore, prepare for, and transition into meaningful careers. Through individualized coaching conversations, students are encouraged to reflect on their strengths, interests, and lived experiences while building confidence in their skills and career readiness. Career staff and coaches partner with students to identify goals, navigate choices, and develop practical, actionable steps toward employment, transfer, or further education, meeting each student where they are and honoring their unique pathways forward.
