The Student Government Association (SGA) is the student governing body at MassBay, and is open to all students. SGA represents the official voice of the student body and student opinion on issues that affect all MassBay students.
SGA is comprised of twenty (20) elected students as well as several volunteers. These students meet regularly with faculty, staff, and administrators to improve the quality of the student experience at MassBay. SGA meetings are open to all students, faculty, and staff members.
Student Government President

Office Hours:
Duties in Your Role:
As SGA President, my role is to represent, support, and advocate for the student body. I work to make sure students feel heard by listening to their concerns, ideas, and feedback, then bringing those conversations to college leadership when needed. I also help serve as a connection between students, faculty, staff, and administration so that communication across campus is stronger. In this role, I lead SGA meetings, collaborate with other SGA members, and help organize events, initiatives, and projects that support student life. I also encourage students to get involved, share their voices, and take part in opportunities that help improve our campus community. Overall, my goal as SGA President is to be a strong voice for students, help create positive change, and contribute to a welcoming and connected college environment.
Hometown: Framingham, Massachusetts
Major/Minor: Neuroscience w/ minor in Biotechnology
Clubs Interests:
I am currently the President of the Veterans Association and am also involved in several clubs and organizations across campus. Being involved has helped me connect with different groups of students and better understand the needs and interest of our student body. Outside of campus involvement, I enjoy reading books, watching shows, hanging out with the crew, working out, and taking long walks, partly for exercise, but mostly so I can pretend I have my life completely figured out. I enjoy staying active and finding little ways to recharge outside of my responsibilities.
Fun Fact: I am a Marine, so I have a great sense of humor... And a very suspicious relationship with crayons.
Why you joined SGA:
Honestly, I joined SGA by getting involved wherever I could, and it ended up becoming one of the best decisions I made. After returning from active duty, I was looking for connection, purpose, and a place where I felt like I belonged. Transitioning back into student life was a big adjustment, and I wanted to find a way to be part of something larger than myself while continuing to serve others. SGA gave me that opportunity. Through my involvement, I have built meaningful relationships, developed a strong sense of brotherhood, and gained the chance to advocate for and support my fellow students. It has allowed me to stay engaged with the campus community and continue making a positive difference in a new way. What started as simply getting involved has become an experience that has helped shape my college journey and given me a renewed sense of purpose.
