Matt Osgood

Matt teaches Intro to Mass Media, Oral Communications, and Journalism. He works with students to cultivate the understanding of the reciprocal nature of the impact that media and society have on one another. As a former professional journalist, he hopes to instill a belief that a free press is synonymous with democracy and that journalism is a vehicle for truth.

Matt (Springfield College ’04) holds degrees in Communications/Sports Journalism and English, as well as a Masters in Curriculum Design and Instruction.
