Join us in honoring Professor Virginius B. Thornton III (1934–2015), a longtime MassBay faculty member, nationally recognized civil rights activist, and lifelong educator.

Keynote speakers: Rabbi Danny Burkman and the Rev. Dr. J. Anthony Lloyd

The event will begin with introductory remarks from President Podell, followed by a video honoring Professor Thornton. Two keynote speakers, Rabbi Danny Burkman and the Rev. Dr. J. Anthony Lloyd, will then speak. The event will conclude with a civil rights and civic engagement fair, featuring refreshments and representatives from several organizations for student networking.
