APSS aims to motivate, encourage, educate, and prepare Pre-Health students from diverse backgrounds to become competitive applicants for health professional schools. This is achieved through the sharing of knowledge, experiences, skills, and mentorship, which are both prerequisites and concomitant to professional participation in health care fields, with a focus on medicine.

The Black Student Union (BSU) at MassBay is dedicated to creating access, representation, and legacy for Black students. The Computer Science Club welcomes anyone interested in technology, coding, and innovation, regardless of experience level. Our goal is to build a supportive and collaborative community for CS students at MassBay. Although the club is new, we’ve already represented MassBay in two hackathons during our first semester. In one of them, the NASA Space Apps Challenge, the world’s largest annual hackathon with nearly 90,000 participants, where our team was recognized as a Global Nominee. Our current focus is competing in hackathons, developing technical skills, and creating opportunities for career exposure through networking events and panels.

The Cybersecurity Club provides an opportunity for students of all majors who have a vested interest in cybersecurity, covering all aspects of the field from its history to modern-day trends. The Nursing Students Club facilitates and engages in acts of service in both the MBCC and local communities, allowing members to develop positive skills and attributes as they prepare to enter the nursing profession. Additionally, the Nursing Students Club serves as a supportive network where students can discuss the challenges of nursing school and access available resources, fostering success in reaching their academic and professional nursing goals.
