WELLESLEY HILLS, Mass. (September 29, 2026) – Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey has appointed Chris Horblit, of Framingham, MA, to the MassBay Community College Board of Trustees.
Horblit is Senior Vice President of Workplace Services at The TJX Companies, Inc., where he leads corporate real estate and workplace services for the Corporate Home Offices. Previously, Horblit served as President and Head of Real Estate at Fidelity Investments, where he directed global corporate real estate strategy and services. He also held leadership roles in Fidelity Risk Oversight, overseeing Global Security Operations, and at Fidelity Management & Research Company, leading the Business Risk Management Group.
In addition to his extensive professional experience, Horblit has been a longtime member of CoreNet Global New England and has served on the chapter's Board and Executive Committee, including as Chapter President, and currently serves on its Advisory Board. Horblit has also served on the City of Framingham's Economic Development Advisory Board and on the Board of the Marlborough Economic Development Corporation from 2019 to 2025. A longtime supporter of MetroWest Legal Services, Horblit was recognized with its "Forty for Forty" award for his sustained support.
Horblit earned a BA in English from Framingham State University, an MS in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University, and a JD, magna cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School.
In June 2026, Horblit was sworn in to a five-year term on the MassBay Community College Board of Trustees and attended his first Board meeting in September 2026.
