Apply today to get the classes you need at the times you want. The application deadline for degree and certificate programs is January 13, 2026. Spring semester classes begin Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
There is no need to submit an application if you are planning to just take a few classes for college credit rather than earning a degree from MassBay. You can simply choose your classes and submit a Registration Form. Placement Testing is required before registering for a math or English class. We're happy to help you sign up for Placement Testing. If the class you want to enroll in requires proof of completion of a pre/co-requisite, please submit a registration form along with a copy of your unofficial transcript. Your unofficial transcript must state your name and the name of your school.
You must be enrolled in a degree or certificate program to be eligible for financial aid. If you are a college student already, you cannot receive federal aid at more than one school.
The spring 2026 semester scholarships applications are now open. You have until January 7, 2026 to submit your application in AwardSpring, found in OneLogin with your MassBay email, which will be mailed to you upon acceptance to MassBay. To apply in time, students must be registered for classes by January 6, 2026.

Massachusetts has recently passed a law that enables most Massachusetts residents who don't hold a bachelor's degree to attend MassBay FOR FREE!
For eligible students, MassReconnect and MassEducate will cover tuition and fees, and provides a stipend for books and supplies.
