Center for  Career and  Workforce  Development

The Center’s overarching goal is to provide a toolbox of employability and professional  development skills  for  prospective and current  students,  alumni,  industry partners/employers, and  their  employees. In alignment with MassBay’s  Equity Agenda, the Center will  unify  the  non-credit  and academic worlds  to  help  ensure that all students  are treated equally as MassBay Students.

Career Services provides comprehensive career development support to MassBay students and alumni. Career Services can assist MassBay students and alumni:

Corporate Partnerships & Workforce Development (CPWD) →

CPWD offers a wide variety of Corporate, Workforce Development & Community courses, programs, trainings, seminars, and workshops. Our staff specializes in designing customized programs to meet the specific training needs of area employers and residents. We are mobile and can train off-campus, remote/online, as well as at any MassBay Community College locations in Ashland, Framingham or Wellesley Hills. The CPWD is dedicated to creating strong partnerships that lead to individual and employer success, and we welcome the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our MetroWest service area.

MassHire Metro South/West Career Centers →

The MassHire Metro South/West Career Centers provide valuable help to low-income, unemployed adults looking to support their families in a competitive labor market. Job seekers are given the opportunity to upgrade their skills, making them more employable, and offered useful resources such as career counseling and resume building software. These services open countless doors and make a difference in the lives of prospective employees and employers alike.

Volunteers of America Massachusetts →

Volunteers of America Massachusetts is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization serving low-income, homeless, and vulnerable populations throughout Eastern Massachusetts. We provide vital services to thousands of individuals and their families — and we’ve been doing it for over 100 years.

Our programs serve the community across the life span from at risk youth to elders in need.
