The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ("ARRT") is the world's largest credentialing organization that seeks to ensure high quality patient care in radiologic technology. ARRT promotes high standards of patient care by testing and certifying qualified individuals in medical imaging, interventional procedures and radiation therapy.


JRCERT Accreditation -This page outlines various important aspects of JRCERT accreditation that students may want to consider prior to beginning a Radiologic Technology educational endeavor. MassBay's program has received JRCERT Accreditation.


Massachusetts Licensing - The mission of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health's Radiation Control Program (RCP) is to protect the health and safety of the citizens of the Commonwealth from the harmful effects of ionizing radiation. Here you can learn about a wide assortment of information about the numerous regulations and statutes promulgated by the RCP in the area of ionizing radiation, information concerning radon, mammography, x-rays, emergency planning, environmental monitoring, radiological technologist licensing, radioactive materials licensing, low-level radioactive waste, and various other radiation issues. You will also have access to licensing guidance documents, advisories and polices of the Program.
