Substance Abuse Certificate

 

MassBay’s Education and Human Services program prepares students for work that makes an impact. MassBay offers associate's degree programs that prepare students for transfer into bachelor's degree programs in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and Human Services, as well as certificate programs that prepare graduates for direct entry into the work force. Our graduates enter meaningful careers as educators in preschools, childcare centers, elementary schools, afterschool programs, or as social workers at community centers to support people in need.

Certificate Program

 

Human Services: Substance Abuse

The certificate is designed to prepare student for entry-level positions in the area of substance abuse, to help those currently in the field upgrade their skills for professional advancement, and/or meet the needs of students intending to pursue further studies in the Human Services, Criminal Justice, Social Work and/or Substance Abuse. Students seeking immediate employment are prepared to work in a variety of residential programs and/or community outreach centers.
