The #oneteamMassBay Committee was formed at the beginning of the 2018/2019 academic year after a group from the President’s Cabinet looked at College morale and found that employees placed great value on the importance of coming together as a community. The goal of the committee is to foster community engagement through initiatives such as informal faculty-staff get-togethers, recognition of individual and team achievements, and community-wide engagement events. Members represent many offices from all three campuses — Ashland, Framingham and Wellesley. 2018-2019 academic year activities have included the “Finish Strong!” events at the end of the Fall semester, Valentines Day candy-grams, and Make Your Own Cupcakes in April to welcome Spring. We look forward to developing more efforts to build community in the future!
