MassBay Community College to Welcome Students for Fall 2016 Semester on September 6th

Tuesday, August 23, 2016

WELLESLEY HILLS (August 23, 2016) – MassBay Community College is pleased to announce that Fall courses will begin on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 with students taking courses online and in-person at our three campuses located in Ashland, Framingham, and Wellesley Hills. There is still time for prospective students to sign-up for courses and begin classes this fall. The College is also offering extended hours and two Saturdays to accommodate student’s schedules to ensure they can apply and register for classes, get financial aid questions answered, pay tuition bills, buy textbooks and more before the start of the semester.

“There is still plenty of time to register for fall courses at MassBay,” said MassBay Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management Lisa Slavin. “We are well aware that students are still deciding on what their fall plans might be and starting at or continuing at a community college is a wise decision. The cost savings, academic flexibility, and numerous transfer pathways – including the brand new Massachusetts Commonwealth Commitment and FSU@MassBay program, are only a few reasons why MassBay is right for so many students in the area. Take advantage of our extended hours and Saturday hours over the next few weeks to prepare to start class on Tuesday, September 6th.”

MassBay offers a robust selection of online and in-person courses, including Financial Accounting, Biology, Global Business, Chemistry, Criminology, Computers and Technology, English, U.S. History, Marketing, Litigation for Paralegals, Spanish and more. Students who complete online courses, learn the same course material as students who complete in-person classes.
