WELLESLEY HILLS (July 1, 2016) — Massachusetts Bay Community College is pleased to welcome Dr. David Podell as the sixth president of MassBay. Dr. Podell begins his tenure today following Dr. Yves Salomon-Fernandez, who had served as MassBay’s interim president this past academic year. Dr. David Podell had served at Marymount Manhattan College since 2008. He previously served as the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost of the College of Staten Island, City University of New York in Staten Island, N.Y.
