In an effort to reduce the cost of operating the College and to encourage more students to use payment methods that do not carry extra fees, MassBay will use Nelnet, its payment plan partner, to process credit card payments, beginning Wednesday, March 4, 2020.
For anyone paying tuition and fees using a credit or debit card, Nelnet will assess a 2.75% service fee based on the amount of your online payment. This fee is nonrefundable and it will appear on your bank statement as an amount separate from your payment to MassBay.
If you would prefer not to pay the service fee, there is an e-check option available that draws directly from your bank account without additional costs.
This process improvement will allow you to pay your bill online from anywhere, eliminating the need to come to the Enrollment Centers at Wellesley Hills or Framingham. As of March 4, 2020 students coming to the Enrollment Center intending to pay by credit or debit card will be directed to make their payment online. Those paying with cash, check, money orders or bank checks will still be able to do so at the Enrollment Center counters.
