In his 38 year career in business, Bob served in a range of sales executive and sales management positions, for 13 years in hi-tech with the IBM company and Wang Laboratories and 25 years in institutional investment management and advisory services with State Street Corporation, State Street Global Advisors, Citistreet and Ameriprise, where he was a Certified Financial Planner and financial advisor. In 1984, he was the state political director for President Ronald Reagan’s reelection campaign in Massachusetts and was elected delegate to the Republican National Convention as well as to the Electoral College.
In his post career, he serves as a class agent for Colgate University, as vice chairman of the finance committee at Saint Elizabeth’s church in Sudbury and is pursuing a graduate degree in public administration at Framingham State University. For the Pioneer Institute, he is the author of the soon to be published white paper “Increasing MBTA Ridership and Revenue with Company Commuter Benefit Programs”. Bob has been married to his wife Peggy for 35 years and they have two children, Caroline and Robert.
