“Autism Goes to College” — A 2019 Film and Panel Discussion
During the month of October, MassBay Community College is joining concerned colleges and universities throughout the nation in celebrating National Disability Awareness Month.
MassBay is offering a series of programs and directed dialogues aimed at building our institutional knowledge, reducing our misconceptions, generating increased understanding, discussing our various (and sometimes contradicting) perspectives, and promoting an open and constructive discourse on issues of disability that impact all members of the MassBay Community — faculty, students, professionals, graduates, administrators, campus police, facilities, I.T., and stakeholders throughout the greater Wellesley and MetroWest communities.
Please find time to participate in one or more of our programs. Contribute to the discussions. Bring your ideas, articulate your concerns, raise your questions, share your personal and professional experiences and expertise. Through informed dialogue, we hope to expand our collective understanding and commitment to making MassBay Community College a more aware, accepting and inclusive learning environment that values and respects issues of disability and the rights of all.
