Achieve in Math (AIM) incorporates a 3 week program in the summer and student support services in the fall. This initiative helps students build their basic math skills and prepare for the Math Accuplacer Test. Students have the opportunity to place into a higher-level math course — ULTIMATELY SAVING MONEY ON EDUCATION!
This program is for new non-STEM students attending MassBay in Fall 2019. Students are expected to attend the 3-week summer program.
- After successfully completing the program, students are eligible for laptop computers or small stipend (incentive will later be determined) and up to $200 for math book rental.
- Enhance math skills.
- Learn strategies and review topics based on problem areas identified by previous Accuplacer test scores.
- Learn about helpful resources and make connections to students, faculty, and staff that will improve college experience.
