Business & Professional Studies

The Division of Business and Professional Studies centers on areas of study that prepare you for both further education and careers in many of today’s most sought after professions. Programs are offered through these academic areas: Business, Education, Government, Human Services, and Legal and Paralegal Studies. Course offerings are designed to help students gain a wide range of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Courses are scheduled with flexible day, evening, and online options to help meet your busy schedule.

Graduates of our programs receive the high-quality education that is required by today’s demanding workplace and are able to find satisfying careers in a wide variety of business, educational, human service, government, criminal justice and legal environments. Many of our programs offer internships that allow the student to gain valuable work experience while earning academic credit.

We also have a variety of articulation agreements in place for graduates who wish to continue their education at a four-year institution. Examples of some of the transfer destinations of our graduates:

  • Students in Business have gone on to further study at Babson College, Bentley College, Northeastern University, UMass Boston and other institutions.
  • Students in Hospitality Management have gone on to further study at UMass Amherst and other institutions.  
  • Students in the Early Childhood Education have gone on to further study at Framingham State University, Bridgewater State College, UMass Amherst and other institutions.
  • Students in Paralegal Studies have gone on to further study at Suffolk University and other institutions.
