On Friday, April 12th, MassBay Community College will be hosting an National Science Foundation STEP to Success Conference. The conference will provide faculty from community colleges and partner universities the opportunity to share innovative programs and strategies supporting STEM pathways. This conference is a culmination of five years of partnership work between Northeastern University and partner community colleges, including MassBay.

 | Planning for Success Dr. Ellen Ferraro, Director of Systems Architecture, Design & Integration Directorate, Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems
Ellen manages over a 1,000 employees involved in testing many of Raytheon Co.'s systems — from missile defense to radar and surveillance technologies. Ellen is a distinguished speaker and alumnus of UMass Amherst. Ellen will be sharing her experiences at Raytheon, and about the work they do at Raytheon. She will talk to students about mapping a five year career plan, and will share tips for success. Noted author William Martin to speak at MassBay's Constitution Day on Sept. 13th in the Perkins Library Atrium at 11am.
