Automotive Technology: Toyota - Associate in Science

The Toyota Technical Education Network (T-TEN) is designed to upgrade the technical competence and professional level of the incoming dealership technician. The program involves academic as well as automotive lecture/laboratory instruction focusing on “state-of-the-art” Toyota products at the MassBay Ashland Technology Center. Students are also required to work at a Toyota dealership as part of the cooperative education phase of their training. The Toyota T-TEN Program is a collaborative effort of MassBay Community College and Toyota. The College has the academic and administrative responsibility for the program which is certified by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation Inc. in all eight performance areas.

Upon completion, the Associate in Science Degree in Automotive Service Technology with a concentration in Toyota (T-TEN) is awarded.

Admission Requirements:

Minimum eligibility for admission to this program includes:

  • MassBay Placement into College Writing (WR 100)
  • MassBay Placement into Fundamentals of Algebra (MA 095)
  • Valid driver’s license required
