This program is designed to upgrade your technical skills and professional level.
The program combines classroom learning with automotive lecture/laboratory instruction incorporating state-of-the-art BMW products at our Technology Center in Ashland.
In addition, you'll gain hands-on experience working at a BMW dealership as part of the cooperative education phase of your training.
Our BMW program is a collaborative effort between MassBay and BMW. MassBay is certified by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation in all eight performance areas.
Upon completion, the Associate in Science Degree in Automotive Service Technology with a concentration in BMW is awarded.
Career Forecast
- Opportunities are very good for automotive service technicians. You'll find openings with BMW dealerships and other facilities servicing these types of vehicles.
Minimum eligibility for admission to this program includes:
- MassBay Placement into College Writing (WR 100)
- MassBay Placement into Introductory Algebra (MA 095)
- Valid driver’s license required
