Title III Core TeamKim Trauceniek, M.A., Retention Coordinator
Kim is responsible for coordinating the retention efforts at the College. She will work with departments to identify and implement retention strategies to improve student success. She will also assess programs and measure outcomes and make recommendations accordingly.
Kim has more than 10 years experience in higher education administration including academic advising, outreach and program development, educational research, and business management. Prior to coming to MassBay, Kim served as the Sophomore Advising Coordinator and an Academic Adviser at Harvard College’s Eliot House.
Linda Grisham, Ph.D., Director, Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology Innovation
Dr. Linda Grisham established the College’s Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology Innovation in the Fall of 2010. The Center works with full and part-time faculty individually or in groups as they revise courses, develop course assignments and assessments, and adopt teaching strategies that are student-centered, incorporate universal course design principles, and address MassBay’s updated graduation competencies.
A biochemist with a doctorate in Pharmacology from Stanford University, Dr. Grisham has conducted medical research and has taught undergraduate and graduate level courses (physics, chemistry, modeling complex systems, pharmacology, and science education). She has worked over the years as a research scientist, science educator, curriculum developer, financial planner, community activist, and radio commentator. Linda serves on several local, regional, and national science advisory boards whose primary goal is to increase number of students pursuing STEM careers.
