Governor Baker Announces New Members to the MassBay Board of Trustees

WELLESLEY HILLS, MA (October 27, 2016) — MassBay Community College is pleased to announce that Governor Charlie Baker today appointed new members to the MassBay Board of Trustees. The new appointees are Tim Clifford of Holliston and Jen Maseda of Natick.

 “Lieutenant Governor Polito and I thank the outgoing trustees for their service and congratulate these newly appointed trustees and thank them for their willingness to serve on the boards of our public colleges and universities,” said Governor Charlie Baker. “These appointees bring with them tremendous leadership, professional, and academic acumen that will positively impact their campuses and students.”

“I look forward to continuing to work with all trustees and campus leaders to ensure we prepare our students for the changing workforce and continue to offer top-notch public education in the Commonwealth,” said Education Secretary Jim Peyser. “I am also grateful to all of the outgoing trustees for their service to the Commonwealth.”

Tim Clifford is the Chief Executive Officer of Frontline Technologies, an award-winning, cloud-based K-12 education software provider. He received his B.S. in Liberal Arts from Northeastern University. Clifford is a resident of Holliston.

Jen Maseda is the Executive Producer of Woman2Woman Today, a local cable access show that airs throughout Great Boston and highlights women succeeding in business and life while supporting each other along their path to success and the Commissioner on the MetroWest Commission on the Status of Women. She received her MPH in Health and Social Behavior from Harvard University and her M.Ed in Exercise Science and Wellness from Florida Atlantic University. Maseda is a resident of Natick.

Maseda and Clifford’s appointment fills the vacant member positions of Emmett Price and Lyris Bauduy-Liautaud, whose terms expired this past spring. MassBay would like to thank Emmett Price and Lyris Bauduy-Liautaud for their service to the College, and welcome Jen Maseda and Tim Clifford to the Board.
