Mr. Solomon holds a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, and a Bachelor's in Political Science from the University of Vermont. His primary area of responsibility is directing the College’s overall marketing strategy.
Prior to coming to MassBay in February, 2010, Mr. Solomon held executive positions at all three levels of government. He served as Director of Policy & Communications for his hometown, the City of Newton, Massachusetts in the office of former Mayor David Cohen. In that role he was the first spokesman in City history. Mr. Solomon also spent three years on Beacon Hill as Policy Director for a state Senator and three years in Washington, DC in the White House as Advance Staff under President Clinton. Mr. Solomon also served three years in varying roles with the non-profit community service organization City Year.
Mr. Solomon lives in Medfield, Massachusetts with his wife Michelle, and their three sons Maxwell, J.J., and Mason.
