Full Board Review

Full Board Review

Projects that are of greater than minimal risk receive review by the full IRB at a monthly meeting.  The level of risk encountered in these studiesis greater than that experienced in daily activities.  Research that focuses on participants from federallymandated protected groups including pregnant women, prisoners, fetuses, human in vitro fertilization, cognitively impaired persons, and traumatized or comatose patients requires full board review.
