Transfer Events and Services

The TransferCoordinator, Transfer Counselor, and the Academic Advising Staff at MassBay arecommitted to assisting students, faculty and staff with any questions regardingtransfer. Throughout the academic year, the college community is invited topartake in or request any of the following services. 
 

Below is a description of some of the available resources through the TransferAdvising Office:  

Transfer Workshops
Transfer Workshops are held mainly on the Wellesley campus, but there are someoffered on the Framingham campus. These workshops provide an overview of thetransfer process as well as give you a chance to meet the transfer coordinatorbefore you begin the process. These workshops are designed to answer some ofthe ‘big picture’ questions about transferring into a four-year institution.All students interested in transferring to another school are instructed toattend a Transfer Workshop early in their academic career at MassBay. You canview available dates on the Transfer Advising Website and call the AdvisingCenter to sign-up for a workshop.  

Transfer Fairs
There is a Transfer Fair in both the fall and spring semesters of each academicyear. Over 35 colleges and universities are invited to attend the transferfairs each semester. At the fair, students have the opportunity to meet withadmissions representatives about the requirements for transferring into theschool. The transfer fair is also a great time to learn more about theinstitutions that you are interested in applying to after your time atMassBay.   

Transfer Advising Appointments
The Transfer Coordinator, as well as other Transfer Counselors, are availableby appointment to meet with students who have already attended a TransferWorkshop. The Transfer Coordinator assists the student in an individual settingin order to best meet the needs of the student.  

Transfer Library & Catalogs
MassBay Transfer Advising is committed to having the latest editions ofresources and reference materials for the benefits of our students. TheTransfer Library is your one-stop resource for CollegeBoard, Peterson’s,Princeton Review and other relevant transfer material.   

Whether you’re looking for institution profiles, information regarding transferscholarships, or just need help selecting a major, we have all the resourcesyou’ll need. For Free! Students are encouraged to utilize the Transfer Libraryin the Wellesley campus Advising Center throughout the transfer process.
