Your dreams. Our mission.
Academic Achievement Center
Our Services
The Academic Achievement Center (AAC) houses Disability Resources, Reading and Writing Centers, Peer Tutoring, Math and Science Centers, a Math Homework Center, and Testing Services. The Academic Achievement Center is a warm and friendly environment where all MassBay Community College students can receive assistance in achieving their academic goals. We offer high quality tutoring, professional individualized instruction and strategies to foster student success, structured study groups and study skills workshops. Our centralized space provides an appealing academic atmosphere.
Students who are willing to make a commitment to their academic success and are serious about pursuing the goal of college learn how academic support services outside the classroom contribute to that success.
Our Mission
Our mission is to inspire, excite and reach out. We dedicate ourselves to providing specialized and innovative methods of individual and small group instruction and assessment necessary to promoting student retention and achievement. We strive to create a culture of active learning. Our diverse students take ownership over their education, gaining the skills and confidence they need to excel in school.
This year we invite you to visit us, to make use of our resources, and to become part of our community. Our staff of peer and professional tutors looks forward to working with you.
