Your dreams. Our mission.

Alumni & Friends

Welcome to MassBay Community College Alumni & Friends Pages

Letter from the President

Dear alumni, friends of MassBay, and parents,

Thank you for considering making a gift to Massachusetts Bay Community College. MassBay strives to offer the best quality education at an accessible cost to our students. Despite our best efforts, many students struggle to pay for tuition and some do not qualify for financial aid, despite their hardships.

When you make a gift to MassBay, you are investing in a young person’s future, in a single mother’s dream of providing a better life to her children and serving as a role model to them, or in rebuilding the confidence of a head of household who was recently laid off and needs to polish his or her skills. Our students’ stories are compelling and the effect of your gift can help move a student from working class to middle class. Your gift can and will change a life.

Our tuition is relatively low, so a small gift goes very far. Your gift can help with books or with assisting students facing emergencies in the midst of the semester. You can invest in funding internship opportunities for students and in a range of programs from those targeting at-risk populations to research and innovation in our various academic departments.

I invite you to give to your ability. I invite you to be generous. Let’s each make a difference and collectively make a lasting impact on many lives.

Thank you in advance for your generosity.

Participants were cheered as they passed Routes 16 and 9 in Wellesley. Over 100 t-shirts were passed to onlookers as a reminder of the 5K walk/run for MassBay alumna Krystle Campbell. This annual October event funds the Krystle Campbell Scholarship awarded each semester to a qualifying MassBay student.

The Alumni Office had a drawing for a mini iPad for those alumni who updated their contact information on the MassBay Alumni website during calendar year 2014.
