Dean’s Welcome

Welcome to the Division of Health Sciences, located at MassBay Community College’s Framingham campus. Today’s rapidly growing field of healthcare has created an ever-expanding need for competent, caring professionals. MassBay’s accredited degree and certificate Health Sciences programs provide students with a well-rounded and comprehensive education that will lead to rewarding careers.

The high quality and flexibility of our programs attract students from Boston and throughout the metrowest region. Our experienced faculty will ensure you have meaningful classroom, clinical, and laboratory experiences. Students will gain knowledge, skills and experiences needed to seek certification and/or licensure to be eligible for employment in a variety of settings, including: hospitals, clinics, physicians offices, long-term care facilities, surgical centers, and emergency response agencies.

MassBay regularly reviews its policies in order to maintain high quality programs for our students. Our Associates Degree Nursing programs are well-regarded by medical professionals and local communities throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and we are committed to selecting nursing candidates that have the greatest potential to succeed academically.

To uphold this commitment, important changes in the Admissions-Selection policy will take effect for the Associates Degree Nursing programs beginning with admission in Fall 2012 and beyond.
